Great weekend of racing with the Infinity Crew!

Slater Trout took 1st Place in the Elite 12'6" division and 1st Place Age Group OC-1! Very Impressive. Slater rode his new signature racer for the first time to victory...

Dave Boehne raced well and took 4th Place in the 12'6" while Chance Fielder snagged 5th in the very competitive 14' Class.

Alleanna Clark took 1st Place in the Girls Kids division 12'6" as well! Nice weekend for Infinity!

CD Kinley : Couple Waves From the Final

CD Kinley has been ripping lately. It's no surprise he surfed his way to the final this past weekend. Infinity is stoked to have such a stoked grom on the team!

CD's go to board is the "TL" Team Label... The "Team Label" is the go to performance SUP for our team. Tested the world over, it is easily one of the most versatile SUP surf designs available.

He rides 7'9" x 27" x 3 7/8"... We've got a couple new ones coming for him very soon in the 7'4" range... Stay tuned...

Incredible waves this weekend! Hope you guys scored because it was classic California with a nice 6ft swell and sunny glassy conditions all day! Wow!

InfinitySUP's Dave Boehne, CD Kinley and Brent Pascoe competed in the Annual "Gathering of the Tribes" Coalition SUP Surf event held at Churches State Beach. Waves were flawless and the boys took advantage!

Dave Boehne took 2nd Place in the SUP final and CD Kinley 3rd... Dave rode his 7'11" Blurr SUP in the early rounds and switched over to his 8'2" TL for the final and the slightly smaller swell... CD ripped his 7'9" TL all the way to the final. Nice work boys!

Slater Trout had his buddy Matt Becker crash at his Maui home for a few weeks. These knuckleheads spent all day shredding waves, chilling in the jacuzzi, hangin with babes, downwinders, you name it.

Dave Boehne 1st Place Tecolote 5000

Had a fun weekend of racing down in San Diego for the Tecolote 5000.

This race is hosted by the San Diego Canoe and Kayak Team and they do a great job putting together a fun competitive race!

The race format requires all racers to compete in 3 different events to crown an overall champ. 3000M distance, 200M Sprint, and 100M Sprint Prone.

When it was all said and done Dave Boehne took first in all 3 events and was crowned the over all champ.

CD Kinley did well taking 1st in the Distance and Sprint for 19/U men and the famous 4 man unlimited Racer too 2nd place in the Distance race behind Thomas Maximus.

Weather was great and a fun event. We will be back next year!

Dave is no stranger to the waterman community. His family owns and operates Infinity Surfboards and Surf Shop in Dana Point, CA. Dave’s parents are World Champions in Tandem Surfing, being named one of the “First Families of SUP” by SUP Magazine.

Dave grew up, encouraged by his parents to enjoy the ocean. He found himself riding and experimenting with every type of surf craft; shortboards, longboards, stand up paddleboards. Dave’s love for the ocean has led him to be a versatile waterman. He designs surf and SUP boards, he can ride any surf craft well and he lives his life in and around the ocean. He has been a professional surfer for half his life and this past year in 2011, Dave has put a concentrated focus on being a respected SUP racer, by training and competing in SUP surfing events. Boehne recently finished 4th place in the annual SUP Poll Awards.

We just got in the new Hybrid SUP Jacket by Quiksilver and i must say it is pretty sweet.
Fans of Quik's last paddle jacket is gonna be stoked because i believe this is a much better version. It fits better and is more versatile.
On this jacket they went away from the coated poly shell and added an unbrushed polypro body with a bamboo blended moisture wicking sleeves so this thing breathes much better. The front zipper is still there which is good to control the temp of the jacket.

Slater Trout 6th Place Nomutu Paddle Champs

Here's a quick recap from Slater's Mom Jen on the paddle:

"I have to make this short cause battery power is low and lunch is served. Slater got 6th, Connor first, Kai second, a New Zealand guy third, Jake from Australia fourth and Noah fifth. Slater had to stop and have Dave come over to assist him on the jet ski. His right forearm cramped so badly he could not open his hand. He had to sit for three or four minutes to let it relax, Dave gave him some Powerade and he continued. Grueling according to all the kids. People were running out of water etc. But everyone was glad to get to the beach and hit the hot tub, now we can relax a bit and enjoy ourselves. I am including a few pics, more to some later. I was in a boat and got to see Slater quite a bit during the race but we were also following several other people. There were about 15-20 racers."

sounds like it was a pretty heavy race and a great event/experience over in Fiji.

We went out to Parker, Arizona last weekend to camp have some fun and do the race. Great set up where you race 10.5 miles from Dam to Dam with a 2-3mph current behind you.

Good turn out from last year and the weather was nice. Dave Boehne got 3rd in the 12'6", Mick Vollmer took 4th in the 12'6", Jack Wygall took 5th in the 14' and Mel Wygal with Diane Wenzel took 1st place in the womans unlmited on the tandem SUP! nice... Click HERE for full results and times.

Slater's fin by FCS is awesome. Team Infinity has been using it for months now. It's probably the lightest fin we've ever held in our hands. It's a bit shorter at 8.5" so it can get a little squirrely in the surf on a bigger board, but it makes it super easy to turn around buoy's fast. It tracks better than you would think and kelp is a non-issue. We highly recomend this fin for all around race board performance. We got 'em in stock so hit us up! Fun waves last weekend for the Ventura Paddle Champs. Infinity had some good results with Dave Boehne taking 4th place in the Open Pro and CD Kinley taking 2nd Place in the Juniors division. Stoked!

StandUp World Tour Huntington

The StandUp World Tour came to the US for the first time and went off in great conditions. The level of SUP surfing is definitely way higher than people know. Guys were seriously ripping!

Dave Boehne had a great run all the way from Trials round 1 finally going down in the quarterfinals. This sets him up with points for the next events as well as next year. nice.

Fun event last Saturday at Hermosa Beach Pier. Challenging conditions tested all the skills. Down wind, up wind, side chop, going in and out of the surf etc was all a factor. This race was a good prelim to the Battle of the Paddle next week bringing out the very best paddlers including Jamie Mitchel, Danny Ching, Connor Baxter, Slater Trout etc.... In the end, Infinity had a pretty nice weekend of results. Stoked!

Incorporating some of the Infinity short board theories, we have come to this new model the "blurr". This is as high performance as it gets...

Had a great week up in Park City, Utah. Summer time in the mountains is simply awesome. Incredible event put on at the lake by H2o Overdrive and at the river by Boardworks.

Infinity had a great weekend with Slater Trout placing 2nd in the pro race riding the 14' Infinity and Dave Boehne and Slater's relay teams placed 1st and 2nd both on their new 14' Infinity racers! So goood!

Slater again finished 1st Place the very next day at the Boardworks down river race, beating out some very good SUP paddlers as well as seasoned "river" guys... The kid is a beast to say the least.

Managed to squeak in a couple rounds of golf, ride the alpine slide, and put back more then our fair share of adult beverages at the infamous "no name bar"... Good times for sure and we will be back next year!

Infinity's been busy racing this summer! This Month alone we saw the Midwest Paddlefest, Hennessey's Championships, San Clemente Ocean Fest, and the Oceanside Surf Monkey!

This one is surprisingly stable w/ the deep cockpit, flat bottom hull design, parallel outline and wide square tail. Check out how absolutely sharp the "destroyer" style nose is. This board is very quiet in the water and cuts like a spear.

Congrats to Infinity's Tommy Lloy for taking 1st Place in the first event of the season of the Revolt Summer SUP Series. Held in Ocean Beach, Ca the conditions were windy, walled and challenging. In the end no one could stop Tommy as he won all of his heats up the final and coming away with the victory.

Team Infinity raced last weekend. It was a fun 6 mile circuit style course. Had to negotiate a number of buoy turns and brave through the surf on the inside. All in all one of the more fun races of the year for sure... Chance Fielder got 2nd Place 14' Division, Dave Boehne did well finishing 5th in the 12'6" Elite class (Dave unveiled his new race board), and Brent Pascoe got 1st Place in the Open division racing on the 10'6" Slater Trout Hi-Brid. Congrats guys!

Infinity @ the Silver Blade Regatta (olympic trials)

We headed down to Chula Vista last weekend to attend the Silver Blade Regatta which was held at the Olympic Training Center. This is the first time SUP has been invited to compete at the center and is the first steps in getting SUP racing into the Olympics!

Was a fun event with a 200m sprint, 2000m distance, and a 200m team relay. The races were held in lanes and you had attendants holding on to the tail of your SUP at the beginning of the race to ensure no "false" starts. The finish also had a photo finish feature to reference back on close battles to the finish line!

All in all a really fun event and great venue. Was fun getting in the mix with all the other canoe, kayak, C1, Olympic hopefulls.

Infinity's Alleana Clark took 1st Place in 14 and under Girls while Infinity's Jayson Campbell too 1st in the 14 and under boys as well... Nice job guys!

2011 Mickey Munoz Mongoos Cup!

Another super fun weekend right here in Dana Point!

The Mongoose Cup hosted by surf legend Mickey Munoz went off without a hitch this past Saturday. This event is great because it's just a fun atmosphere and a rad "luck of the draw" relay race. You get pitted against your buddies and some world class racers all for fun... There was a rad SUP expo too lots of new people getting introduced to SUP...

in the end Infinity's Dave Boehne was "lucky" enough to draw a very competitive relay team w/ Chris Bishow, Dane Deboer, and Norman. Dave raced anchor and held off fellow Infinity team mate Tommy Lloy for the 1st Place win! Stoked for Tommy and his team to snag 2nd as well! So much fun...

Had a great day of racing and weather for the 2011 Dana Ocean Challenge in our hometown of Dana Point, CA!

A giant turnout of racers showed up to race the 5 mile + course. I think i heard it was over 130 plus!!

Infinity's Dave Boehne finished 5th over-all in the 12'6" Stock behind Anthony Vela, Matt Becker, and Tyson Poppler.

Billy Kho snagged 3rd Place in the 12'6" Stock 40+ division. Nice!
