Some photos of Slater Trout in the first event of the 2011 Standup World Tour @ Sunset Beach.
Slater was a standout all event. Winning all of his heats in the trials and qualifying for the Main Event.
Slater is well known for his racing skills and i think he definitely surprised many people with his big wave surfing skills.
Slater switched back and forth between his 8'8" CarverTL and 9'4" custom Carver gun.
